TI Pharma researcher is awarded EFMC Prize for Young Medicinal Chemist in Academia

Andreas Bender has received the EFMC Prize for Young Medicinal Chemist in Academia which will be awarded at the XXIst International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry in Brussels from 5-9 September 2010. The EFMC Prize is established by the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC) to acknowledge and recognize an outstanding young medicinal chemist (<35 years old) working in academia within Europe. The prize is given annually and consists of a diploma, € 1.000 and an invitation for a short presentation at an EFMC symposium. Andreas Bender is a TI Pharma researcher and involved in the project GPCR forum, a project that focusses on identifying novel modulators for established targets.
