TI Pharma attracts international interest
On September 10, the Danish Council for Strategic Research visited TI Pharma. The purpose of their visit was to learn about the unique Dutch approach to public-private collaboration and the concrete results that are being booked by our institute.
Peter Olesen, Chairman of the Danish Council for Strategic Research, comments on the visit: “Public-private partnering (PPP) becomes more important as a driver for innovation. Therefore, we are looking for best practice models for facilitating PPP in the Danish research funding system. Within Europe we have recognized The Netherlands as a leader in these aspects, with their proven and successful top institute model.”
Olesen continues: “The discussion with TI Pharma has been very interesting and inspiring. We are sure that a better understanding of the objectives, structure, and expected outcomes of TI Pharma will be extremely helpful for the Danish Council for Strategic Research to find a suitable model with a number of potential partners. Especially, we are impressed by the high number of participating and committed industrial partners, not just national but also international key players.”
