Three TI Pharma researchers receive prestigious ERC Grant
The ERC (European Research Council) has recently announced the names of 236 scientists who will receive “Advanced Grants” from its second competition for established researchers. From a total of 1584 applicants, three TI Pharma scientists were selected: René Bernards (‘Dissecting Genetic Dependencies in Cancer’), Albert Osterhaus (’Novel strategies to combat future influenza pandemics’) and Titia Sixma (‘The balance of ubiquitin conjugation and deconjugation’). Each of the Advanced Grants have a value of € 3.5 million of a total call budget of approximately € 515 million.
