Drug Discovery and Development Cycle (DDC)

Those scientists in the life sciences who are working on different scientific questions that should lead to new medicines often talk about the challenges of discovering and developing new medicines. But what is the sequence of events, or better, what cyclic steps can be identified in the process that ultimately leads to new medicines?
During this course participants will obtain a good overview of the steps in the process leading from drug discovery, via drug development to drug marketing approval.

Joanna Korecka, PhD student, NIN
"During interactive exercises we discussed issues presented that day which gave us a more ‘hands on’ experience in the main topics and concerns in the drug discovery process."
